Creating a Microcredential Course

Submit an Interest Form
- Submit the course creator form to propose a new course or indicate your interest in developing a listed course request.
Meet w/ UNK Advance
- Meet with the UNK Advance team to clarify course goals, intended audience, learning outcomes, and delivery methods.
Develop Course Content
- Collaborate with a learning designer to create instructional materials, assessments, and learner support resources.
Prepare for Course Launch
- Work with UNK Advance to review the finalized course and ensure it is ready for implementation and launch.

Course Requests

UNK Advance develops microcredentials that address emerging needs and support learning across education, business, and community sectors. Faculty and staff are invited to share their expertise by developing courses in the areas below.

Course Requests	Description
Administrative Support for Education	Focuses on foundational administrative duties in school settings, including scheduling, recordkeeping, communication with staff and families, and routine office support for daily school operations.
Career Explorer Course Series	Introduce potential students to your department w/ career exploration resources and sample modules from courses in the department.
