The Sapphires perform at all home football and basketball games and do many campus and community appearances throughout the academic year. Their purpose is to unify students, alumni and fans in support of the University of Nebraska Kearney. They serve the university as ambassadors at campus and community events and motivate and entertain the crowd and of course promote school spirit.
Tryouts for the team are held every year for all potential dance team members. Tryouts for the 2013-2014 squad will take place on Sunday, April 28, 2013. Please visit the tryout page for more information.
