WEPA Print Kiosks for Student Printing    

          
WEPA print kiosks are located in CTE, CTW, Nester View, Antelope Hall, Mens Hall, Mantor Hall, URS, and URN, as well as West Center 115E and the Calvin T. Ryan Library.  Students can print from a personal computer, a campus computer, a cloud service such as Google Drive, Box or Dropbox, or a USB drive.  Black and white printing is $.05 for a single-sided page and $.09 for a dual-sided page.  Color printing is $.35 for a single-sided page and $.68 for a dual-sided page.  Funds can be added to your WEPA account at the kiosk or at www.wepanow.com.  WEPA kiosks also accept Loper Dollars.

Connect to eduroam

Connecting your devices

  1. On your device, navigate to the area where you can view all WiFi networks that are in range.
  2. Select eduroam from the list of available networks.
  3. Your device will now prompt you to log in to the network. Use the following credentials
    • Username:  Use your full UNK email address
    • Password: EASI password (same as Canvas, Box, etc.) 
      • If you are a student, staff, or faculty on one of the University of Nebraska system campuses, please replace '@unk.edu' with one of the following:
      • Lincoln - @unl.edu
      • Med Center - @unmc.edu
      • Omaha - @unomaha.edu
  4. Accept the eduroam certificate and authenticate your device, if prompted.

The ITS Technology Help Desk supports the computing needs of faculty, staff, and students at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Our primary support areas include questions and problems related to:

-Campus network and Internet connections (configuration, access failure, UNK passwords, etc.)
-E-Mail FAQ (Office 365 for faculty and staff; LoperMail for students)

Training

The Academic Technology Team helps faculty, staff and students to work smarter, faster and better with the applications they use every day. We also investigates new technologies for teaching and learning in both formal and informal settings.

The most effective classrooms today are students and instructors that are moving, collaborating, sharing and building knowledge together. We work collaboratively with faculty in designing and developing courses using technology to enhance learning and teaching.

Academic Technology Team supports and provides training on the following software: Canvas, VidGrid, Microsoft Office, Office 365 and LoperMail, Apple OS and iOS, Box, and Qualtrics.

Customized training can be designed to meet your department’s specific needs and personal training sessions can be scheduled if you would like help with a specific problem or just want to learn more about a program.
