We offer a variety of resources for prospective and current students as well as alumni.  Please select from the options below:

Prospective Students

High School Student

Transfer Student

    • See how your classes will transfer to UNK.
  • Transfer Day
    • Transfer Day is a great opportunity to interact with current and incoming UNK students. At your Transfer Day, you will receive helpful information and advice on transitioning to UNK. Along with meeting an academic advisor and enrolling in your next semester’s courses, you will get connected with various essential tools and services including your new Student ID card and access to your UNK email account. To register for a Transfer Day, log in to MyBLUE and click the link prompting you to register (available once fully admitted.)
  • Transfer Visit
    • Transfer visits are available to students planning on transferring to UNK in the Spring or Fall semester, who would prefer additional focus on transcript evaluation and the next steps in the enrollment process. Tours of campus are still included!

    • Engages and supports new students as they transition to UNK life through a network of resources, including social and academic programs.
  • Academic Advising

    • This message on your MyBlue means that you need to meet with your Academic Advisor before you can enroll in your next semester courses. To find out who your advisor is log into your MyBlue account and it will be listed on the right hand side.
  • Career Fairs

    • Attending a Career Fair can be beneficial in exploring careers.
SOPHOMORE
  • Declare or Switch your Major

  • Internship

    • If you are looking for an internship feel free to browse the various postings on Handshake. It is updated on a daily basis. You can also visit with your Academic Department to learn about internships within your major.
  • Job Search Services

    • As a sophomore, it is a great idea to start building your resume and polishing your interview skills. Let us help you out with the process. We offer a variety of services for you to succeed! Set up an appointment through Handshake to get started or view our job search resources.
JUNIOR

    • The journey toward one's final career destination often includes a side trip to consider attending graduate school.  If this is you, we have resources to assist you in your journey (ie, practice interviews, cover letters, etc)

    • Interviewing is perhaps the most important aspect of your job search.  Utilize our tools to help you succeed.

    • Are you graduating with a Education Degree?  If so, we can help you set up your Credential File.  A credential file is a packet of information, sent to prospective employers during your application process.
