Character Building for Teachers and Students

Effective Teachers Build Chaacter

Good Character is not an accident of nature. We are not born with good character. It is developed over a life- time with the help and guidance of countless people, who want our lives to be both joyful and meaningful. Like most journeys, character building has a beginning. It starts with those who love us the most, our parents.

It is at our parents’ side that we start to build the foundation of self-respect and the respect for others. But, that is only the beginning. We will associate with many other people in our lives. Some of these people will be of good character and others will not. We must choose who to follow. This choice is not always easy, and sometimes it can cause us to be unpopular but good character is worth it.

The links below site work here, are to help teachers and parents guide children into making wises decisions about how they might want to live their lives. It is also a guide for them to follow if for some reason they are seeking ways to improve on what has already been started. Good character building only happens when they surround by people with people of good character. The lessons presented here, are not restricted to children. Applying the information to our own lives can also be of value.
