ECU Additional Endorsement Online Degree
With the ECU Additional EndorsementGraduates will be able to teach children ages 0-5 in special education settings and ages 0-8 in regular education settings
The number of hours a participant needs in order to complete the degree is dependent upon the Teaching Endorsement that is currently held.
Example:A participant with an Elementary Education endorsement generally needs to take 21 hours to complete the Additional Endorsement program.
What are the prerequisites?
- The prerequisites for the online Early Childhood Unified Additional Endorsement is a completed Bachelors Degree and Teaching Certification in any discipline.
What support will I receive?
- A degree audit will examine the courses already completed and will determine how many program hours will be needed to complete the endorsement.
- UNK provides advising support for all students during, and after, enrolling in the program.
- UNK works closely with the T.E.A.C.H early childhood scholarship program participants to provide support and information in order meet T.E.A.C.H. scholarship requirements
- Students enrolled in the UNK program will receive advising and mentoring support throughout.
- Admission to UNK
- Completion of coursework
- Field experience or praticum
- Students have access to online video tutorials to orient them on how to take online course.
Other services include:
- 24/7 library services, discounted software and hardware, an online bookstore, 24/7 technology help desk, and more.
- Enrolled students have access to online PRAXI / PPST exam tutorials through the Testing and Education Reference Center (TERC).
