Each student is assigned an advisor in his/her particular major. Student's must meet with their advisor(s) every semester prior to registration.
Each student is also issued a degree audit at the point of declaring a major. The degree audit offers a continuous, updated, evaluation of the student's general studies, professional sequence, and courses in their major(s). It can be viewed by contacting their advisor or on the web at webeasi.unk.edu.
The KASE office provides advisory services to students concerning the PRAXIS(PPST) exam, admission to Teacher Education, degree audit reviews, and admission to student teaching. Students are encouraged to stop in at anytime.
