Where the classroom blends with hands on experiential learning

The Health and Physical Education Education degree program allows students to be qualified to teach in the public or private sector, as well as work in any field related to physical activity and wellness. UNK students have the opportunity to complete interactive experiences in a variety of health and physical education settings beginning their freshman year. The Health and PE faculty believes in the value of hands-on learning and help guide students in these field experiences throughout their collegiate career to develop quality educators who make a difference in the lives of students.

All educational programs in this major can be completed in a four year time frame and require a maximum of 120 hours or less of education preparation. There are many options when selecting an endorsement area in Health and Physical Education.
