The mission of the Center for Economic Education at the University of Nebraska Kearney is to promote high quality teaching of economics and financial literacy in Nebraska through professional development opportunities, academic competitions, and access to resources for teachers of K-12 classes to better serve their school, students, and communities.

Recent News

The Nebraska Council on Economic Education has been selected as the State Council of the Year by the Council for Economic Education national organization. This award will be received at the 58th Annual Financial Literacy & Economic Education Conference in Los Angeles, CA in October.
