Registration opens March 13 at noon. 

The University of Nebraska at Kearney is excited to bring curriculum-based summer camps to our community. We invite students entering grades 1-8 to join us on UNK's campus for enrichment camps that are not only fun and engaging, but also educational.

Loper Launch Campers (and their adults) can choose between our academies and our one-week themed workshops. Countdown Hour is also available for those needing an early drop-off option.

Loper Launch Extras

Countdown Hour

Countdown Hour is available for families who need an earlier drop-off option. During this supervised time, students may read, play board games, work on simple crafts with other campers, and more. It is a calm and welcoming way to begin the day before morning workshops start. Students may be dropped off anytime between 7:30 and 8:45 AM.

  • Time 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM
  • Cost $10 per week per student ($6 per week per student if qualify for free/reduced lunch)

Landing Hour

Landing Hour is available for families who need a later pick-up option. After a full day of camp activities, students will enjoy supervised time to eat their sack lunches, relax, play games, or participate in light activities with their peers. Students must bring their own sack lunch each day, as lunch is not provided.

  • Time Noon - 1:00 PM
  • Cost $10 per week per student ($6 per week per student if qualify for free/reduced lunch)
