Careers That Care Visit Day
Careers That Care is an event designed to highlight purpose-driven professions focused on supporting, counseling, and improving the lives of others. The event will feature undergraduate departments and professionals representing fields such as psychology, social work, sociology, and family science, as well as master’s programs in counseling and school psychology. This interactive showcase will give students a deeper understanding of helping professions and career pathways, the academic programs that prepare them, and the difference these professions make in improving the lives of individuals, families, and communities.

- 12:30 pm – Introduction and welcome
- 12:40 pm – Faculty Presentations
- 1:10 pm – Student Panel with current UNK students
- 1:30 pm – Campus Tour
- 2:15 pm – Activity Session #1
- 2:50 pm – Activity Session #2
- 3:15 pm – Refreshment Break
- 3:25 pm – Activity Session #3
- 4:00 pm – Activity Session #4
- 4:30 pm – Event concludes
