The UNK Film Club is excited to present a free screening of the classic musical Cabaret at The World Theatre on Monday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. This event is open to the public and offers a unique opportunity to experience the iconic 1972 film on the big screen.
Directed by Bob Fosse and starring Liza Minnelli, Cabaret is set in 1930s Berlin during the rise of the Nazi regime and follows the story of an American cabaret singer, her complicated relationships, and the political unrest brewing around her. The film won eight Academy Awards including Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actor.
