his year, on Saturday May 3rd at 10am, we will be hosting our 1st Mindfulness Walk which is similar to the annual AFSP Out of the Darkness Campus Walk that we have hosted for the past 5 years! This year we have decided to take a different approach with our walk where we aim to bring awareness to all mental disorders and illnesses and not just solely Suicide Prevention. The event will be held in the Cushing Coliseum (1410 W 26th St. Kearney NE). Check-in will begin at 10am, at 11:00 am we will begin with brief opening remarks and a brief message by a guest speaker then we will begin the walk promptly after. There will also be 3 gift basket raffles! The first raffle ticket is free once you register and show up, any additional ticket is $1 each.
