Loper Programming and Activities Council, a student-run group, plans a number of activities for UNK and the greater Kearney community each year. LPAC events include the annual spring concert, Build-a-Bear, Blue Gold Community Showcase, FAME student talent show, lip-sync competition and Fun 5K.
Membership in LPAC is open to any UNK student. The group meets on Thursdays during the school year.
