How would you describe your teaching style?
My philosophy of teaching is based upon what I like to call “the three E’s”: Energy, Engagement, and Effort. This represents the idea that students who are energized, engaged, and pushed to give effort will enjoy their learning experience more than unmotivated, unengaged, and bored students.
What do students need to know to be successful in your classroom?
The things you need to succeed in my class are the same you need to be successful in life. Michael Phelps once said, “Success isn’t about feeling ready, it’s about showing up anyway.” By showing up, you are already putting yourself in a position to succeed.
