Biography
Micah Dickey is a Lecturer in Athletic Training in the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Sciences at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and brings several years of clinical athletic training experience to her role in higher education. Prior to joining the faculty, she served as an assistant athletic trainer at UNK, working with collegiate student-athletes and gaining experience in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Community Interest and Involvement:
Micah is actively involved in her local community, with a particular interest in supporting children, families, youth athletics, and community development. She has been involved with Community for Kids (C4K) initiatives focused on early childhood development and family engagement and has supported local high schools with event athletic training coverage.
