Meet the requirements for Administrative and Supervisory Certification to serve as a superintendent in Nebraska schools. Expert faculty, and experienced school administrators who serve as mentors for your field study and internship courses, will prepare you to advance in your career.
Prerequisites: Master’s degree in a related education field and an administrative certificate. UNK also offers online educational administration programs that can serve as prerequisites for the school superintendent program.
Students pursuing certification in states other than Nebraska must check with their state’s Department of Education for certification requirements.
The total range of credit hour requirements for the program (33-69 credit hours) depends on your completion of prior degrees and coursework.
