How would you describe your teaching style?
I believe in and incorporate the gradual release of responsibility such as "I do-We do-You do." Ultimately the goal is for the student to understand or perform the task. It’s an interactive and collaborative process to get students across that finish line.
What do students need to know to be successful in your classroom?
One of my favorite sayings is that it's ok not to know, but it's not ok not to try. My job is to help you know and to structure class sessions and assignments in a way that benefits you to that end. Your job is to simply approach your learning with a positive and ready attitude and be willing to put forth the effort with what is in front of you.
