“Art has always been a passion for me. There’s nothing else I’d want to do with my life than pursue a career in art. The art department was appealing in itself, as well as the rest of campus, and the fact that UNK wasn’t far away from home made the transition from high school to college easy. I love how small the classes are. You get a lot of one-on-one time with skilled professors and also make quite a few friends. I also get to utilize a lot of great tools and equipment.”
