Why did you go into teaching?

I first became interested in pursuing a career as an accounting professor while auditing the payroll at the University of Utah. I saw that business school faculty were in high demand. I have always liked being needed.

What do you like about teaching?

I love the idea that we can take students from whatever background and, in just four short years, transform them into accounting professionals.
