"Opt-Out" for Personal Number/E-mail
During a campus emergency, our goal is to communicate with as many individuals as possible. Emergencies are unplanned events that can cause physical injury or environmental damage. Emergencies include
Student, faculty and staff have the right to "Opt-Out" of having their personal telephone numbers and personal e-mail addresses used for this notification. Students and employees cannot "opt-out" of receiving UNKAlert! on UNK landline telephones, UNK e-mail addresses or cell phones provided by UNK. This information will not be rented, traded or sold to a third party and only be disclosed as necessary to comply with applicable laws and government orders or to operate or maintain this service
If personal telephone numbers and/or email addresses are to remain in ESS for employees or MyBlue for students but not used for UNKAlert! complete the following information and submit.

Opting out of receiving UNK text messages requires the telephone number to be removed in ESS under “Text Messages” for employees or in MyBlue under “Campus Voice Text” for students
