Kearney Health Opportunities Program (KHOP)
The Kearney Health Opportunities Program (KHOP) is a cooperative program between the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). The purpose of the program is to recruit and educate students from rural Nebraska who are committed to returning to rural Nebraska to practice healthcare. This program represents a commitment and dedication to the education of Nebraskans and quality health care for citizens of the state.

Kearney Health Opportunity Program - Nontraditional Track (KHOP)
The Kearney Health Opportunity Program (KHOP) is a joint venture between the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Medicine, designed to assist previous medical school candidates who are strongly committed to training as primary care physicians and practicing in rural Nebraska. The program will target individuals with a need to bolster their academic record in order to improve their medical school candidacy.

Public Health Early Admissions Student Track (PHEAST)
Public health is the science and art of protecting and improving the health of communities through education, promotion of healthy lifestyles and research of disease and injury prevention. Public health is everything from leading a healthier lifestyle to ensuring safe drinking water. Public Health creates a safer world for yourself and future generations. The University of Nebraska Medical Center offers a Masters in Public Health in seven different areas: Biostatistics, Community Health Education, Community Oriented Primary Care, Epidemiology, Environmental and Occupational Health, Maternal and Child Health, and Public Health Administration.
The purpose of PHEAST is to create a pipeline and cadre of public health professionals who will practice in Nebraska.
