Educational administration blends leadership development with a deep understanding of schools. Through the online EDAD programs you will gain the credentials to become a principal, district superintendent, or other supervisor who values relationships and facilitates school improvement.
EDAD students may pursue an online Masters or Specialist Degree as well as a non-degree endorsement.
"I was a superintendent before I had these classes and I was not prepared. I didn't even know what I didn't know. Going through the classes, working with the professors at UNK that were practicing administrators or who had practiced, they knew exactly what administrators, what superintendents needed to know. Mission
The mission of the Educational Administration Department is to prepare graduates to be school leaders who are responsive, reflective, and collaborative decision makers, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and technological expertise to create learning environments that uphold democratic principles and foster a sense of belonging and respect among all members of the school community.
