  • All business plans submitted by the deadline will be evaluated and narrowed to the Final 5 Business Plans for oral presentations to take place on Wednesday, March 28th at 7:00 pm.
  • The oral presentations portion will consist of a 10-15 minute presentation of the Business/Business Plan in the UNK Nebraskan Student Union, Room #312 which overlooks Foster Field.  There will also be time, approximately 10 min each, for Q&A with the judges to further evaluate the entrepreneur and business.
  • The panel of business professionals will evaluate the presentations based on specific criteria (see evaluation forms below) and will award the prize money* in the form of support for the company, which will vary dependent on the winner and post-event negotiations.

*Applicants may submit multiple business plans, but only one plan per business is allowed.
*Applicants must be 18 years or older and a legal resident of the United States.
*Businesses (proposed and existing) must be located or willing to locate in rural Nebraska
