Health Science Visit Day
Are you a high school junior or senior considering a healthcare career? UNK Health Sciences Visit Days give high school students an inside look at healthcare career pathways and the exceptional resources available to help them succeed at UNK.
During your visit, you’ll connect with representatives from our Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Communication Disorders, and Kinesiology & Sport Sciences departments, meet current UNK students, tour campus, and explore the UNMC Health Education Complex.
You’ll also meet with a UNK Health Sciences Advisor to learn about our specialized approach to pre-health advising and opportunities such as KHOP, Health Science Scholars, student organizations, hospital partners, internships, and more. See what sets UNK Health Sciences apart – last year, 88% of UNK Health Sciences students who applied to clinical healthcare professional programs were accepted.
The event begins at 11:00am, with check-in starting at 10:45am. Lunch will be provided, parents are welcome, and the event is free of charge. Sign up by Wednesday, November 11. Details will be provided to you upon registration.
