The department has a state-of-the-art mini data center located in Discovery Hall, that includes routers, switches, wireless access points, custom virtual servers for independent studies, and server clusters for faculty and students that can be used. In addition, the neighboring cyber operations lab has 24 workstations equipped with various security tools, which can easily be patched into the mini data center for countless security exercises.

Upcoming Industrial Control Systems CyberLab

Our new Industrial Control Systems (ICS) CyberLab will provide a cutting-edge research and hands-on learning environment that prepares the next generation of cybersecurity professionals with the skills needed to safeguard the nation’s critical infrastructure against evolving threats.
