Kelcey Wetzel

Bio

Kelcey Wetzel brings her belief in servant leadership to her role as event coordinator at UNK. Wetzel previously served as an event coordinator at Colorado’s Bibliographical Center for Research where she coordinated events throughout 18 states. She has previous experience working for Denver’s OMNI Institute where she served as a project manager. Wetzel’s extensive work as a servant leader spans from her work as a unit secretary for Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE, safety and training coordinator for Colorado’s Encore Electric, and executive coordinator for Connecting Young Nebraskans in Kearney, NE.

Kelcey Wetzel shares that she prioritizes the needs of her team in order to foster trust, collaboration, and empathy. She believes in a supportive environment where individuals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to shared goals. She brings this approach to her position of event coordinator as a means to execute quality events that meet the needs of her audience as well as stakeholders.
