Landon Lueshen

Biography

Landon Lueshen’s professional experience includes familiarity in manufacturing, operations, and accounting. Before joining UNK, he worked at Eaton for 16 years and gained familiarity in both large and small plant operations. Responsible for developing leadership teams and improvement activities, he led training on Six Sigma and Lean Continuous Improvement principles. Accounting experience includes internal controls, Sarbanes Oxley, cost accounting, forecasting, capital and cost out management, and global financial reporting. He is an executive board member of the United Way for the Kearney Area and a board member on the Buffalo County Economic Council. Research interests include accounting and manufacturing operations.

How did you become interested in this subject?

My first accounting class sparked my interest and an internship helped decide this was my career. 
Becoming involved in operation decisions awakened my interest in operations management.
