College Education: I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Family Science and a minor in Criminal Justice in Spring 2022. Currently, I am pursuing my master's degree in Secondary School Counseling 7-12 at UNK.
Favorite Thing About UNK: My favorite aspect of UNK is the presence of faculty, staff, and peers who consistently encourage and challenge students to step out of their comfort zone. UNK provides students with limitless opportunities to develop their leadership skills and excel academically.
Advice to Future Lopers: As a student, you have access to a wide range of resources that can help you prepare for your career after graduation. Make the most of these resources to enhance your leadership skills, build your professional network, and develop your personal growth. This is your opportunity to discover different organizations and career paths and to confidently pursue those that align with your goals and aspirations. Remember to trust in your abilities and take things one step at a time!
Favorite Places on Campus: My favorite spot on campus is the Student Union. It's the perfect place to grab coffee, study, and attend events.
Why I chose UNK: I absolutely fell in love with the campus atmosphere when I visited! The students were friendly and open, and sharing their personal experiences gave me a glimpse of what my own student life could be like. After talking with various learning communities, I felt confident that I could thrive at UNK, even as a first-generation student.
