Kearney Ranks as #1 STEM Community in State

In addition to the most STEM related careers, Insurify also compiled data on colleges and universities with STEM related programs and women in STEM related fields, and awarded composite scores to cities across the United States. Kearney was identified as the highest composite score in Nebraska by Insurify's data analysts, demonstrating "exceptional dedication to science, technology, engineering, and math". 

The Kearney Chamber of Commerce, among other entities in Kearney, commended the community. The College of Business and Technology at UNK is excited for the possibilities that the new Discovery Hall, a facility micro-focused on STEM studies, opens to our students and faculty alike. This award for Kearney exhibits the facility's impact on our community and state, which has only just begun.
