The UNK chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (currently changing its name to Professional Business Leaders) sent 14 students to the National Leadership Conference this summer to compete in various business competitions. Theresa Yaw, faculty advisor for the student organization had much praise to offer about these students and their efforts.

"I am happy to report that these students did very well, earning one first-place finish, two second-place finishes, two third-place finishes, and in total, ten top-ten finishes. Nebraska finished first among all states in top ten finishes, and UNK was a large part of that achievement...I am extremely proud of these students and the quality of education provided by the CBT."
