Hampton High School receives donated Laptops

Posted: December 1, 2019 12:00:00 AM CST

UNK Professor Matt Miller from the CBT Cyber Systems department coaches the Kearney 4-H Robotics club. In order to program the robots, the students needed to have computers to write the code that is used to solve the challenges they are presented with in competition. CBT donated five laptops to the Hampton High School for this purpose.

"Thank you for the donation from UNK of the five laptops to our robotics team. They will come in useful and your generosity is very much appreciated. We have been struggling to meet the needs of all our aspiring robotic engineers and a lack of computers as well as other equipment is always a great need. Thanks again!" - Gary Richards, Hampton High School Robotics Team Sponsor.
