Rusty Mermsmeyer interning at Long Agronomics in MindenRusty Hermsmeyer, UNK senior in Agribusiness from Scotia, NE, learned an enormous amount about agronomy during his summer internship at Long Agronomics in Minden. Working long hours during the growing season, Rusty gained experience in field scouting, including weed and disease identification, plant health, and chemical prescription, as well as customer service and reporting. Rusty will graduate in May 2020 and valued the internship experience as he will be able to use all of the knowledge gained in some way, no matter what field he chooses.
