17th Annual UNK Robotics Competition

Cyber Systems students participated in several MICS 2019 events, held in Fargo, ND in April 2019. Dr. John Hastings served as the faculty mentor for all UNK teams.
UNK Cyber System students Christian Schleif, Matthew Laucomer and Trenton Chramosta participated in the programming competition.
The Red vs. Blue cybersecurity competition was new this year. Teams took turns attacking and defending computers, servers and networks. Angel Ruiz, Tyler Pierce-Panowicz, Andrew Oliver, Trenton Chramosta, Wilfredo Martinez, and Bricyn Jameson made up UNK’s team.
Three teams of UNK students participated in the MICS robotics competition. Winning the competition was UNK team Andrew Oliver and Timmy Corrado. Tanner Ostrander, Ryan Putera and Kyle Buss’ team placed second; and the team of Bricyn Jameson, Trenton Chramosta and Ashton Wasenius placed fourth. These teams also participated in the UNK 17th Annual robotics competition
