Economic Essay Winners recognized in CBT

Each spring the CBT conducts the JCM Symposium Economic Essay Contest. This year we had 19 entries and awarded first, second, and two honorable mention awards. In May there was a short ceremony held in West Center to recognize the following winners:
First Place, $1,250
Daniel Vargas Castano - Paper: "The Adversities of Rent Control"
Second Place, $750
Jose Perez - Paper: “Do Rent Controls Work to Increase Affordable Housing?”
