Area Organizations attend non-profit REACH Event

UNK's Center for Entrepreneurship and Rural Development worked with the Hall County Housing Authority to develop REACH, an event bringing together area service providers who work with underprivileged and low-income populations. The REACH event (focuses on building RELATIONSHIPS, EMPOWERING ADVOCACY, COMMUNITY and improving the HUMAN experience). 

The event was held in Grand Island at the Public Library on April 19, 2019 and featured speakers from the University of Nebraska at Kearney including Lisa Tschauner sharing best practices for building professional relationships, Dr. Kyle Luthans who spoke on human psychological capital and Dr. Maha Younes who focused on advocacy and basic human rights.

Approximately 75 area professionals attended this event which was offered at no charge by the Hall County Housing Authority.
