Members of the CEO executive and leadership team attended the annual global CEO Conference in Tampa Florida at the end of October. The students along with their advisor, Aliese Hoffman, participated in the Marketplace Entrepreneurship Challenge, a simulated business startup challenge.

Sri Teja Vedurumudi, last year's winner of the Big Idea Kearney pitch competition was eligible to pitch at the CEO conference. He said the experience of sharing his business idea in front of successful entrepreneurs was very valuable and it inspired him to continue pursuing his business idea.

This is the first year of attending the conference for the group as they recently became a chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization.
