Concert: "Heroes and Villains"

This season opener features the stirring Beethoven Egmont Overture, music from Peer Gynt Suite by Grieg, and a concerto by Adam Wesolowski featuring UNK faculty member Dr. Robert Benton as euphonium soloist.

Concert: "Classic Traditions"

Enjoy selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Duke Ellington’s Harlem Nutcracker (featuring members of UNK’s Jazz Rock Ensemble), “March of the Toys” from Babes in Toyland by Victor Herbert, Johann Strauss’ celebrated Radetzky March, and a holiday carol sing-along!

Concert: "American Adventures"

Celebrate American music with selections from film scores “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “Star Wars” (John Williams), Samuel Barber, and an orchestral piece by Florence Price, Adoration – celebrating Black History month.

Concert: "Saints and Sinners"

The season finale concert includes the inspired Russian Easter Overture by Rimsky-Korsakov, two selections with UNK choirs, the UNK Concerto-Aria competition winner, and concludes with the rousing “Danse Bacchanale” from Saint-Saëns’ opera Samson and Delilah.
