Concert: "Exploring Horizons"

This opening concert features the première of a new work by Robert Gross and Brad Modlin with collaborative soloists David Nabb, Nathan Buckner, and Sharon Campbell. The concert also includes Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 (“Unfinished”), and music from Verdi’s Aida.

Concert: "Celebrating the Holidays"

Discover classics By Johann Strauss Jr. and G. F. Handel and enjoy a holiday sing-along. The concert will introduce a UNK Student Concerto-Aria Winner.

Concert: "Traveling the Americas"

Experience music of the Americas through works by José Moncayo and Astor Piazzola, Irving Fine, Libby Larsen, and Leonard Bernstein. This program will highlight performances by soloists Heidi Farrell, and UNK graduate Elizabeth Peters singing "Glitter and be Gay" from Candide.

Concert: "Revisiting Masterworks"

The season's last concert showcases two great works - Jean Sibelius' Finlandia and Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. They form the concert bookends for another featured soloist - the second winner of the UNK Student Concerto-Aria competition.
