Transfer Day

When you attend Transfer Day, you're completing a required orientation, plus you'll meet with an academic advisor who can answer all your questions and enroll you in classes. Choose from four dates from April to July. You must be admitted to UNK to attend Transfer Day. Register through MyBLUE

Completing your orientation requirement via the online orientation eliminates the need to attend transfer day. This option is best suited for students already familiar with campus, online only students or anyone not interested in attending an on campus orientation (Transfer Day). Access to the orientation is available in MyBLUE to admitted students.

Will My Courses Transfer?

Emma Luling

"I am so thankful for my department faculty at UNK. Having transferred, they were extremely communicative and supportive of me in my transition process. Tom Knott (Associate Director, Transfer Transitions) and the Admissions staff were extremely accommodating and worked with me. UNK has allowed me to further my education that fosters me as a student with hands-on learning and experience, and I've grown socially and emotionally. I did not realize how friendly everyone was here until I started school. I truly love Kearney. UNK feels like home. "
