Change of Campus

Undergraduate students on any of the four University of Nebraska campuses may change campuses by completing the Change of Campus Form. Students changing to a new campus are subject to admission procedures, academic policies, and degree requirements on the new campus. In addition, students with GPAs below 2.0 and who are currently enrolled may need to present their final semester grade report before an admission decision.

  • Transcripts from high schools and other colleges may not be required since they should have been sent by the Registrar’s Office of the “current” campus.

  • Students who have already pre-registered for an upcoming term and now wish to change their registration to another campus within the University System must cancel their previous registration, file a Change of Campus form, and register with the desired campus.

  • The new campus will be responsible for awarding and distributing federal financial aid. Most institutional scholarships will not transfer to the new school. The exception would be the Regents and Nebraska Career Scholarship; however, transferability is not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis once a Change of Campus form is submitted. Be sure to add the new school code to your Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

Graduate students should not complete the Change of Campus form; instead, they should apply for admission to their new program at the new campus. They will work with the Graduate Office at their new campus to complete all application requirements, including the application fee and uploading unofficial transcripts as identified in the application for admission.
