Telehealth Visits

UNK Student Health now offers telehealth home video visits as a convenient appointment option for mental health services.

Appointments are required. Call 308-865-8218.

Telehealth visit instructions will be sent to you prior to your appointment to review and prepare your device.  If you have questions or issues accessing your telehealth appointment, please call 308.865.8218.

You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for a telehealth visit:

• Be physically located in the state of Nebraska at the time of the telehealth visit (due to state medical laws).
• Have access to an electronic device with video and microphone capabilities, such as a mobile phone or laptop.
• Be able to participate in the telehealth visit from a private location.

Convenient care

Telehealth visits allow you to meet with your UNK Student Health provider from the comfort of your home via mobile device or computer.

No telehealth fee

There is a one-time charge of $75 for a new patient, initial psychiatric appointment whether done in person or via telehealth, all following appointments are at no cost. There are no extra fees for telehealth services.
