Things I love about teaching

  • Mentoring undergraduate students to develop/hone their subject-related knowledge and skills.
  • Enabling students to have successful careers post-graduation from UNK.
  • Preparing students to make a difference in their communities through development of strong soft-skills.
  • Becoming a life-long learner myself – often learning from students as much I they learn from me!

Fun facts about me

  • I have visited more countries (17) than states (8)! But have never been south of the equator!
  • Speak 4 languages fluently; have forgotten 2 others for lack of opportunities to speak.
  • Worked in a nuclear power plant as an engineer.
