Make history in your community with an MA in Public History

Is your passion in preserving, sharing, and creating meaningful histories? An MA in Public History from UNK, which can be completed fully online, will prepare you to conduct community-based research, develop exhibits and public programs, and interpret the past in collaboration with diverse stakeholders and communities. You’ll work directly with experienced public historians and award-winning faculty who are invested in developing your skills for today’s world. This program is designed to accommodate your needs, whether you’re a recent graduate or already in the field. You can complete the program with either a thesis or major public history project, allowing you to demonstrate your skills and preparing you for what’s next.

Prerequisites: A bachelor’s degree with at least 18 hours in history or related fields
