  • MS-level IT Supplemental Endorsement program is fully online and is designed for current teachers
  • BS-level program is mostly online and is designed for pre-service teachers
  • Both programs meet the State of Nebraska IT supplemental endorsement requirements for teacher certification.
  • Designed for K-12 teachers to teach IT courses or provide IT support to their school district.
  • Focused on applying computational thinking and the CS/IT principles of creativity, abstraction, data and information, algorithms, programming, and global impact to age-appropriate curricular development
  • Did you know that a new U.S. education law, Every Student Succeeds Act, recognizes CS as important an academic subject as math and English, potentially introducing it into more classrooms across the U.S? Teachers prepared to teach CS/IT are needed.

Note: The IT Supplemental Endorsement courses are part of the MSEd program in Learning, Design & Technology, with an emphasis in Information Technology. Thus, completing the endorsement is a great way to start the MSEd program. U.S. News and World Report Ranks UNK Online Graduate Education Programs 8th in the nation

1. Graduate-level program for current teachers

2. Undergraduate-level program for pre-service teachers
