Megan Goeke holds a unique role which supports both the College of Business & Technology Career Center as well as UNK Online. Megan supports students in the College of Business & Technology through education in professional readiness, exploring business, professional attire, networking and interview skills, and career coaching. She also supports students through their internship experiences each summer. Additionally, Megan advises all online students with majors in the College of Business & Technology and is advisor for transferring students.
Megan teaches undergraduate courses, both online and on campus, and has a background in online education having previously taught in a master’s program at Bellevue University. She leverages her entrepreneurial background, as the owner and founder of Hello Beautiful Bridal & Formal Wear, to help students expand their understanding of entrepreneurship, business management, retail development, and leadership. She demonstrates the importance of community and university involvement to students by holding various roles in organizations such as the advisor for Cultivate, the student entrepreneurship organization, Director for the Kearney University Village Development Corporation, Chairwoman of the Envoy Women’s Committee, and past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce.

I love the opportunity to influence students as they work toward their educational experiences. By sharing professional insight, personal experience, and teaching approaches that allow students to recognize their full potential, it is a great joy to watch them pursue their career aspirations.
It is vitally important that students learn and practice these skills long before they put them to use in a professional setting. By practicing in the classroom or in one-on-one sessions, students will become more comfortable and confident when they are having their first professional experiences.
