About the Agribusiness Comprehensive Degree Program

On Campus

The agribusiness degree program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney equips students to be well-rounded managers of any agricultural operation. As an agribusiness major, students will learn to integrate their fundamental business courses with specialized skills in farm and ranch management, agricultural marketing, price management, finance and more.

While earning their agribusiness degree, students learn from committed faculty with real world agricultural experience and receive hands-on learning through electives such as soil science, agronomy and remote sensing.

Agriculture is woven into the fabric of our community. UNK graduates benefit from a program with a high placement rate* for employment and graduate programs, allowing them to enter the industry ready to make bold moves.

Adam Haag

“The education given to me through UNK was a perfect balance of all the different areas I’ve encountered throughout my career. I’ve got to experience so much in a relatively short amount of time. I feel like the education I received at UNK prepared me quite well for this.”
