OneDrive for Business

OneDrive

Microsoft’s OneDrive for Business is available to all UNK Faculty, Staff, and students.

OneDrive for Business allows users to store work documents in their Office 365 cloud storage account and access those files from anywhere.

OneDrive for Business is not the same as the OneDrive for individuals. The big difference is OneDrive for Business syncs with your UNK EASI account and OneDrive syncs with a personal Microsoft account.

Mac and PC users can download the OneDrive for Business sync client, while iOS users can now access the service via an update to the OneDrive mobile app.

Sensitive Information including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) CANNOT be stored in any online (cloud) file hosting providers including OneDrive for Business. For more information about storing PII, contact Deb Schroeder at schroederd@unk.edu or go to Exemption Request.

UNK ITS only supports OneDrive for Business accounts and will not support personal OneDrive, DropBox, Box, Google Drive or any other cloud storage accounts.
