The Office for Intercultural Engagement and Leadership houses various different student organizations that focus on the importance of diversity, acceptance and community service. Organization membership is open to every student on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus.
If you would like to join any of the organizations that IEL houses feel free to attend any of their meetings at the listed times to obtain more information. The office is located on the first floor of the Nebraskan Student Union, near the east side entrance.

Women Are Problematic meets every Tuesday in the Office for Intercultural Engagement and Leadership at 5:00PM
Hispanic Student Association focuses on Hispanic culture and promoting it within UNK and the surrounding community.
Hispanic Student Association meets every Wednesday at the student union in the Office for Intercultural Engagement and Leadership at 5:00 PM. Every week we like to learn about cultures within the Hispanic community to better promote the Hispanic culture around UNK. Hispanic Student Association is open to students of all backgrounds and provides a safe place to make some long lasting relationships. Pretty soon it will feel like home away from home. Whether you want to learn more about Hispanic cultures or just de-stress, we look forward to seeing you at HSA.”
Black Student Association is a community where students can participate in social events and leadership experiences, and thus engage in the broader UNK community.

PRISM strives for education and awareness of the LGBTQIA+ community on and off campus.
PRISM meets every Thursday in the Office for Intercultural Engagement and Leadership at 6:00PM.
GSA wants to spread cultural awareness through education. GSA has a commitment to elevate the conversation about different cultures through education and programming.
