Tracy Falconer

Biography

Tracy is an Assistant Director for the Office of International Education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  She oversees all student services, immigration, and admissions for the F and J student population currently enrolled at UNK.

Tracy is an international education professional with over 10 years’ experience in intensive English instruction, non-immigrant visa regulations, orientation and student services programming, and compliance coordination within the university. In her current role, Tracy has focused her attention on redesigning orientation programming, improving communication and advising practices within the office especially on OPT/CPT regulations, and implementation of a Peer Mentor program for new students. Tracy is a NAFSA: Association of International Educators Academy Alumn, has reviewed NAFSA conference proposals for the International Student and Scholar Services and the Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship knowledge communities.  She is currently a member of NAFSA Trainer Corps, and has presented at both the NAFSA Region II conference and the national NAFSA conferences to include:
