Student Teacher Professional Development Days. TE400-01, TE400-02, and TE836-01 are Blended Courses which means there will be some on-site classroom instruction with an online learning component. The course required on-site classroom instruction will take place at the Regional Engagement Center in Kearney Thursday, September 4, 2025, with the required online learning component being held the following day on Zoom, Friday, September 5, 2025. Teacher Candidates will not be in class on these days. Workshop topics are professional benefits, academic advising and career development, legal issues, mental health, graduate program opportunities, hearing from an administration panel, and building a lifelong love of teaching. Teacher Candidates should have substitute plans available if required.
